Minnesota smashed an unfortunate record in COVID-19 deaths Friday.

State officials reported 101 new COVID-19 deaths, bringing the state's total closer to 3500.

In Wisconsin, 17 more people died, bringing that state's total to 3,257. There were 1300 new cases.

As many Minnesotans spent the Thanksgiving holiday apart - due to these stunning numbers -- a big question looms, what will the rest of the season look like.
