Man's death under investigation in Brooklyn Center

A man's death in Brooklyn Center is being investigated.

According to a release from the Brooklyn Center Police Department, at 9:30 a.m. Friday, officers responded to the report of a body near a pedestrian path in the area of the 5900 block of Shingle Creek Parkway in Brooklyn Center. The man was obviously deceased.


Foul play is not currently suspected and the police are not looking for suspects at this time.

An investigation into the death is ongoing.

No other details were immediately available.
