Authorities in St. Cloud are seeking the public's assistance in locating a vehicle that was seen in the area of a shooting that injured a 9-year-old boy.

Police identified the vehicle as a white sedan. Authorities hope to speak with any occupant of the vehicle.

Police say it is unknown if the vehicle was involved in the shooting.

9-year-old boy shot in St. Cloud, father says son out of hospital

Authorities were called Saturday night on the report of a person being shot on the 1600 block of 16th Street Southeast in St. Cloud.

When police arrived, they found a 9-year-old who had suffered a single gunshot wound that was not considered life-threatening.

The victim was taken to St. Cloud Hospital and has since been released.
