UPDATE: 

The Minnesota State Patrol has identified the man killed in a motorcycle crash on Highway 169 in Hopkins Thursday night as 41-year-old Brian Wayne Cooper.

The Minnesota State Patrol said it is investigating a serious crash involving a motorcycle on Highway 169 Thursday night.

The crash happened in the southbound lanes near Excelsior Boulevard in Hopkins.
