The final home game of the season for the Gophers women's basketball team has been canceled due to COVID related issues within the University of Minnesota program.

The Gophers were scheduled to host Michigan at Williams Arena on Sunday, Feb. 28, but the programs mutually agreed to cancel the game. Due to few open dates left in the regular season, the game was canceled and not just postponed.

The Gophers have one regular season game remaining on Friday, March 5 at Illinois.
