Minnesota Vikings rookie wide receiver Justin Jefferson was named Second Team All-Pro by The Associated Press on Friday.
Jefferson was the only rookie named to either First or Second Team All-Pro. He received five votes (of 50 by the media), finishing behind first-team honorees Stefon Diggs, Tyreek Hill, and Davante Adams. Eric Kendricks, who finished eighth among linebackers, was the only other Viking to receive votes.
Jefferson is the first Vikings rookie to garner All-Pro honors since Cordarrelle Patterson was selected First Team All-Pro as a kick returner in 2013.
Jefferson broke the 18-year, Super Bowl-era rookie record for receiving yards (1,400) and set Vikings rookie records for receiving yards, receptions (88) and 100-yard games (7), passing the marks established by Hall of Famer Randy Moss during his 1998 Offensive Rookie of the Year campaign.
Surprisingly, Dalvin Cook did not make an All-Pro team after finishing the season with 1,918 total yards and 17 touchdowns in 14 games played. The Titans' Derrick Henry (47 votes) was voted the First Team running back with Alvin Kamara of New Orleans (3 votes) earning the Second Team All-Pro running back spot.
