The Wild will have some long nights in Edmonton, drawing the late games that begin at 9:30 pm Central.

Wild schedule:

Game 1: Wild vs. Vancouver Sunday - 9:30 pm

Game 2: Wild vs. Vancouver Tuesday - 9:30 pm

Game 3: Wild vs. Vancouver August 6th - TBD

Games 4 & 5: Wild vs. Vancouver August 7th and 9th - TBD

The most uncertain thing will be how long the Wild will be away from the Twin Cities. The team could be gone anywhere between two weeks to two months, depending on the their success.

Lawton was great to talk to since he has more than 30 years spent in hockey, including as a player, agent and general manager.

Lawton played for 12 NHL seasons and in more than 500 regular season games, registering 112 goals and 266 points in his career (1983 - 1993). Following his playing career, Lawton was an agent, and later served as the General Manager of the Tampa Bay Lightning for two seasons.
