The presidential campaign of Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar announced a number of hirings Friday.

According to a release, Justin Buoen, who first worked on Klobuchar's initial Senate campaign in 2006 and managed her reelection effort in 2012, will serve as campaign manager.

Julia Kennedy, who most recently guided Wisconsin U.S. Sen. Tammy Baldwin to reelection last year, will serve as deputy campaign manager.

Michael Schultz, who served as Hillary Clinton's Maryland and Delaware Finance Director in 2016, was named National Finance Director.

Among the other hires include Jeff Blodgett as a special advisor. Blodgett got his start working for late U.S. Sen. Paul Wellstone and oversaw both of former President Barack Obama's election efforts in Minnesota.

Klobuchar officially announced her candidacy for the Democratic presidential nomination on Feb. 10.

She has already made stops in Wisconsin and New Hampshire. And on Thursday night, she was in Iowa for the second time in a week.
