Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar's presidential campaign is well underway, and the presidential candidate was in Iowa speaking at a banquet Thursday night.

Iowa figures to be important for Klobuchar if she hopes to separate herself from the field of Democratic candidates.

Klobuchar looks to make inroads in Iowa

5 Eyewitness News asked Minnesota GOP Chair Jennifer Carnahan what she thought about Klobuchar's chances there.

"Senator Klobuchar has tried to present herself as a moderate, a Midwestern moderate, and I think that she's going to quickly find that there is no place for her within her own party," Carnahan said.

Klobuchar faces a crowded field of Democrats, including Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders and California Sen. Kamala Harris, among others.
