Updated: January 13, 2020 12:16 PM

Vikings coach Mike Zimmer met with reporters on Monday morning to wrap up the 2019 season. The two big topics of conversation were his need to hire a new offensive and defensive coordinator.

Former offensive coordinator Kevin Stefanski left after calling plays for a year to become the head coach of Cleveland, and former defensie coordinator George Edwards' contract expired.

In addition to needing to replace two coordinators, defensive backs coach Jerry Gray isn't expected back, per NFL Network. It's also possible that Stefanski looks to bring a staff member or two with him to Cleveland.

Zimmer also touched on whether any players will need to undergo surgery, how he'll go about evaluating his players and the 2019 season, and more.

Vikings players won't be due back in Eagan until mid-April with the start of the offseason program.

The front office and coaching staff will be busy later this month scouting at the Senior Bowl, then February brings the Draft Combine and March brings free agency.  In other words, the next 3 months are going to be very busy.
